Dining Goodfellas In the shopping center at the intersection of Alafaya and Colonial
Bostons seafood restaurant at the intersection of Aloma and Forsyth
For good Italian, close by you might enjoy Louie and Marias, a locally owned restaurant on East Colonial. If you don't mind driving and you enjoy art and a neat atmosphere, take I-4 to International Drive and go to Cafe Tu Tu Tangos--the menu is an eclectic collection of tapas. Another favorite of ours is the California Pizza Kitchen at Waterford Town Center (on Alafaya Trail).
6-5-07 We tried Cafe Tu Tu Tangos and tried everything on the menu (almost). It was delicious and the place is really FUN!
6-6-07 - OK good times at Epcot! Thanks for the advice on Soarin', the "French Quarter", etc.
Tonight - If you were to go to Universal Studios City Walk - What are the must-see must-do tourist attractions? Thanks - J & P.
6-7-07 - It took a looooong time to get back to I-Drive (traffic accident) then we just worked! Finished by 10:30 and no City Walk for us. Next time (hope hope).
Sightseeing
The Orlando History Center is an amazing place and a not miss for sightseeing. It's four stories of local history are located downtown off of Rosalind with convenient eateries merely a short walk away. If you're a Disney fan, the Flower and Garden show is going on at Epcot center. Disney freshens up the place with beautfiul new plantings. They also offer seminars and informal gardening talks along the way.
A nice walk in a pretty place Beautiful pond to walk around at the intersection of Alafaya and Huckleberry. Lake Eola downtown is always a nice play to walk around a lake. If you don't want to travel that far, the trail off of Rouse Road that meanders along the Econ. river (near the Blanchard Park YMCA) is a great walk.
Thank You!!!
It doesn't fit these categories, but you can't miss...
